It traces some of the origins of extremism in Pakistan that were fueled by a military dictatorship that was supported by the Regan administration. It also mentions the massive increase in the budget of the ISI (Pakistan’s notorious “intelligence” service). This documentary becomes disorganized about halfway through. Not enough is clearly explained such as details about the dictator Zia’s plane crash, how Bhutto was re-elected after being removed, and details about the positive things she was responsible for while she was prime minister.
